Fraudulent Email Messages Sent to University Campus
Over the past weekend, international hackers have been sending fraudulent email purporting to originate from the University of Arkansas administration. The message in the fraudulent email indicates that the user could lose access to email or ISIS accounts unless the account password and other private information is submitted via email. This type of message preys on unsuspecting users who believe the message is legitimate.
As a reminder, the University will _NEVER_ send a message which requests private information in this manner.

New Hardware and Software for UAMail
Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at 5:00 p.m., UITS will introduce new hardware and software for the UAMail web mail client system.
In response to our recent mail survey, we have scaled back the UAMail interface to provide streamlined access to email and My Docs. (Access to the original interface will still be available via the login screen.)
Note: This downtime will only affect use of UAMail. Users can still access the mail server through XpressMail or desktop clients such as OS X Mail or Thunderbird. Exchange users are not affected.

Attention Fall 2008 Students!
Count Yourself In!
At the University of Arkansas, you always count. But for the State of Arkansas, you don't count until you verify you're a student. Beginning Monday, August 11, 2008, you can log into ISIS to verify that you will attend the University of Arkansas and confirm that you intend to pay your tuition, whether by scholarship, loan, hard-earned cash or any combination. Not confirming your status will affect your enrollment.
