Symantec Endpoint Protection is a combination of firewall, antivirus, and intrusion prevention software for the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. A campus-wide site license from Symantec has been purchased by the Student Tech Fee fund and University IT Services. Real time protection reduces the risk of spyware and adware, automatic removal enables easy disposal, and registry entries, files, and browser settings are automatically cleaned. Centralized configuration with multiple security technologies ensure maximized containment and recovery. |
| Who can use Symantec AntiVirus? |
Symantec AntiVirus software can be installed on any University computer, or home computers owned by registered students, faculty, and staff. |

You will be prompted to enter your UARK username and password to begin the download. Include GACL\ or @uark.edu with your UARK username to authenticate (ex. "GACL\username" or "username@uark.edu" (Replace "username" with your UARK username).
Macintosh
